Calculator Assumptions
In calculating estimated costs and savings, Rapelle has used the following assumptions based on input from existing customers.
- Cleaning costs: approximately $110 per hour, consisting of labour, machine operation, employment services, water & power, and profit margin requirements.
- Cleaning time: 100m^2 per hour
- Machinery energy rating: 50kw/h
- Machinery water usage: 16L per minute, or 960L per hour
- Carbon emissions: 1 ton per 1,000 KW of energy used
- Inflation rate: 3% pa
Please note that these figures are approximate and vary depending on the zoning and type of the surface area being cleaned. The Business Climate Change Calculator accounts for these variances and adjusts the figures appropriately.
